Our Life saving Club was originally established in 2021 by Daniel Wood. Danny was a strong believer in water safety and he put his heart and soul into supporting the Royal Life Saving Society UK. Danny sadly passed away before he could get the Life Saving Club up and running.

Danny's friends and fellow volunteers at the RLSS UK Manchester and District Branch came together to continue the vital work that Danny had started. Together, and with the support from Salford Watersports Centre, the club was launched in 2022 and proudly was named 'The Danny Wood Lifesaving Club'. 

Our club aims to continue Danny's legacy and educate as many people as possible to help to save lives.
