Terms and Conditions for Booking and Attending Sessions

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before booking and participating in the Water Safety and Life Saving Session conducted by the Danny Wood Life Saving Club at Salford Watersports Centre. 

 

Participant Responsibility:

1.1. Participants must be at least 8 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

1.2. Participants must be physically fit and capable of participating in water-based activities.

1.3. Participants are responsible for following all instructions given by the session instructors and lifeguards.

1.4. Participants under the age 16 must have a parent or adult guardian with them on site at all times.

Health and Safety:

 

2.1. Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities that may affect their ability to safely participate in the session.

2.2. Participants should inform the session instructors of any relevant allergies, medications, or other health-related concerns.

2.3. Participants must follow all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the session instructors and lifeguards.

 

Risk Acknowledgment:

 

3.1. Participants acknowledge and understand that open water-based activities involve inherent risks. Whilst the session is risk assessed and supervised with qualified instructors, all risks cannot be removed.

3.2. Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the water safety and life saving session and release the Danny Wood Life Saving Club and Salford Watersports Centre from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the session.

 

Personal Belongings:

 

4.1. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the session and are advised to leave valuable items at home.

4.2. The Danny Wood Life Saving Club and Salford Watersports Centre will not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

 

Photography and Publicity:

 

5.1. Participants may be photographed or filmed during the session for promotional and publicity purposes.

5.2. By participating in the session, participants grant the Danny Wood Life Saving Club and Salford Watersports Centre the right to use any photographs, videos, or testimonials taken during the session for promotional purposes.

 

Cancellation and Refunds:

 

6.1. The Danny Wood Life Saving Club and Salford Watersports Centre reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the session due to inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances, or insufficient participant numbers.

6.2. In the event of cancellation, participants may be offered a rescheduled session or a refund of the session fee, at the discretion of the organisers.

6.3 Once a session is booked, no refunds will be issued unless the session is cancelled.

 

By participating in the water safety and life saving session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
